An accomplished poet, she incorporates history, as well as the call of home and identity, to influence her folk vibe on acoustic guitar. Alice Osborn is an experienced performer in the Piedmont of North Carolina who always delivers a variety of easy listening folk Americana that’s rooted in the New South. Her music features upbeat tempos, poignant lyrics, and powerful vocals—her latest creation is Searching for Paradise, an album packed with story songs about losing and finding home and hope. An accomplished poet of four collections, American history buff, and the artist-in-residence for the Western Wake Farmers’ Market, Alice’s acoustic originals are influenced by diverse artists such as Willie Nelson, Phil Collins, and Mary Chapin Carpenter.
