An accomplished songwriter, she incorporates history, as well as the call of home and identity, to influence her folk vibe on acoustic guitar. Her most recent CD is Skirts in the Snow: Beyond the Tragedy of the Donner Party. She teaches music, is currently working on her third album, and is also the President of the NC Songwriters Co-op.
