Enjoy Alice’s retro country/folk vibe as she spins folk and Americana original favorites that pack a punch. Based out of Raleigh, North Carolina, Alice Osborn’s Americana music is truly homegrown. An accomplished poet, she incorporates history, as well as the call of home and identity, to influence her folk vibe on acoustic guitar. Alice Osborn is an experienced performer in the Piedmont of North Carolina who always delivers a variety of easy listening folk Americana that’s rooted in the New South. Her music features upbeat tempos, poignant lyrics, and powerful vocals—her latest creation is Searching for Paradise, an album packed with story songs about losing and finding home and hope. An accomplished poet of four collections, American history buff, and the artist-in-residence for the Western Wake Farmers’ Market, Alice’s acoustic originals are influenced by diverse artists such as Willie Nelson, Phil Collins, and Mary Chapin Carpenter. She is the President of the NC Songwriters Co-op and lives in Raleigh with her family. She also plays fiddle, mandolin, bass, and bluegrass banjo.
